As we look forward to the start of a new school year on Wednesday, we are grateful for the preparation our in-coming students received through their learning experiences this summer!
While other students and teachers were relaxing in July, both our St. Augustine and St. Monica Campuses were a beehive of activities with over 40 new students attending our summer schools. In addition to academic classes, these young men and young women learned what it takes to be a successful NativityMiguel student. As a result, they were all invited to continue in our program for a third week, this time on the beautiful grounds of Christ the King Seminary in East Aurora.
On the last day of camp, members of our Advancement Committee took a break from their annual planning meeting to have lunch with our new students.
In addition to our Notre Dame Service Learning student Lauren Milac, our students benefitted from time spent with our graduates: Emmanuela and Helena who are honor roll students at Sacred Heart Academy, Kaylee who is in her first year at St. John Fisher College, Aweso who graduated from Canisius High School and is a senior at D’Youville College, and Claudious who graduated from Bishop Timon-St. Jude and now attends Villa Maria College.
Tomorrow, we will welcome 44 new students to our NativityMiguel community. We are excited to begin another school year! We hope you will have the opportunity to meet all our students soon. Thank you!
